Managing agent First Port has been invited to Parliament to answer claims from leaseholders about bad management.
Twenty-four Labour MPs have found a pattern of consistent complaints from their constituents – including rising service charges with no evidence, and lack of transparency over insurance. Although it’s unlikely to change their behaviour, MPs are (hopefully) doing this to build a case for tougher reforms when they eventually pass the Leasehold & Freehold Reform Act.
